UTS Ranked Australia’s Top Young University for Fourth Consecutive Year

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has been named Australia’s top university under the age of 50 by the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2024. UTS was also Australia’s leading young university in 2023, 2022 and 2021.

THE assesses universities based on 18 performance indicators across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

UTS has been steadily rising in all of the major international rankings over the past ten years.

Among universities of all ages, UTS is currently ranked in the top 100 universities in the world by QS World University Rankings and in the top 150 universities in the world by THE World University Rankings.

It is also ranked 14th in the world and 4th in Australia for overall contributions to sustainable development according to THE, and 43rd in the world and 8th in Australia for Sustainability by QS.
