Valedictory Ceremony of E-Summit 2021 at IIT Bhubaneswar ends on a positive note

Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar successfully organized the four day entrepreneurial conclave, E-Summit ’21 with many thought provoking sessions and interesting workshops. Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry and the First Woman IPS Officer was the Chief Guest for the valedictory ceremony. The event was presided over by Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar congratulated all the participating Institutions, teams and other participants for their enthusiasm and entrepreneurial exuberance. He expressed his satisfaction in its grand successes in all of its innovative endeavours including running the academic classes on time thereby offering uncompromised education, second to none in the country. He also made a mention about the Institute performing well on multiple fronts. He mentioned that the conclave was instrumental in sowing the kernel of entrepreneurship in young minds in addition to taking entrepreneurship in India to the next level. He stressed on the need to nurture innovative ideas among students with proper planning and execution so as to bring about a major reforms responding to the emerging needs of the society.
The Chief Guest Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry and the First Woman IPS Officer spoke about the several complex aspects of her life, entrepreneurship, leadership, importance of family system, motherhood and the roadblocks she faced along with her course of journey lucidly in an easy to understand manner by giving day to day examples from her daily life. She inspired the audience with the glorified message of contributing to the development and progress of the nation by sowing more in order to reap more. She also gave an inspirational message to all the budding entrepreneurs of today to be creative, being quality conscious, inculcating new ideas and proper communication. She further added that it is important to have knowledge of prevailing market conditions, incorporation of latest technologies to stay in tune with times, evaluating the overall risks, having perseverance and above all never to stop trying despite failures. Her session was an interactive one followed by questions and answer round.
E-Summit’21 (26th-29th March) comprised of intriguing guest talks, interactive sessions, workshops, panel discussions centered around the theme, “Reign of Resilience” featuring some eminent personalities from across the globe. The summit 2021 was a complete package of knowledge, inspiration, opportunities and fun for entrepreneurial enthusiasts.
Also present at the event were Col (Dr.) Subodh Kumar, Registrar, IIT Bhubaneswar, Dr. Madhusmita Dash, Chaiperson and Dr. Rajakumar Guduru, Vice-Chairman E-Summit 2021, and Dr. Gaurav Bartarya, PIC E-Cell, IIT Bhubaneswar. The valedictory ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks. More than 2000+ participants from various colleges across India participated in the conclave.
