Valedictory Session of National Workshop on Research Methodology

 

Aligarh : A week long national workshop on “Research Methodology for Humanities and Social Sciences” came to a successful conclusion on May 25th at the Strachey Hall; Sir Syed Hall (South).The workshop was organized by Coaching and Guidance Cell of the Hall in hybrid mode, allowing participants to attend both online and offline.

The Chief Guest of Valedictory Function Prof. Rizwan Khan (Department of English) emphasized the significant role of the research methodology workshop and commended the Coaching and Guidance Cell for taking the initiative. He provided guidance to researchers on achieving high-impact publication, recommending Scopus journals as ideal platforms for their articles and papers.

The Guest of Honor, Prof Naushad Ali PM from the Department of Library and Information Sciences, enlightened the participants about the utilization of new tools and techniques in their research.

Dr Zubair S Khan, Deputy Director Urdu Academy, and Dr Faiza Abbasi, Director UGC-HRDC at AMU, offered their valuable guidance for future events to the participants.

Expressing gratitude for the substantial participation of scholars, Dr. Farooq A Dar, Provost of the hall, appreciated the Director of UGC-HRDC for collaborating with the Coaching and Guidance Cell. He also praised the workshop convener for their proficient guidance.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq, the Workshop Convener, and the session concluded with a vote of thanks from Senior Hall Md Ehtashamul Islam Khan, the Organizing Secretary.
