Various services provided to people at weekly Block Diwas events in Doda

Doda: Various individual beneficiary services, including domicile and category certificates were today provided to several beneficiaries during weekly Block Diwas proceedings held at designated locations across the district.

The Block Diwas is being conducted for redressing public grievances on every Wednesday in Doda district. The events witness active participation of locals from various areas of the District.

As many as 71 grievances/applications were received during the program and all were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot. Besides, several services which included, 11 category certificates, 166 Domicile certificates and 25 different revenue papers were provided to the people on the spot.

Adding to this 57 students were also covered under scholarship scheme, while 33 ration cards were also seeded.

Meanwhile, 341 new works under MGNREGA, 14th FC, Capex and CSSs were also started in different areas of the district.
