Vels Talensia – Virtual talent show for children aged between 2-8 years by Vels International Preschool
Chennai: Vels International Preschool announces a virtual talent show ‘Vels Talensia’ for children aged between 2-8 years. The talent show aims to be a platform for children to showcase their talents in a time when they are looking for avenues to express themselves.
A one-minute video showcasing any of the child’s talents which may include but not be restricted to singing, dancing, magic performance, instrumental music, comedy, martial arts, etc should be posted on www.velsinternationalpreschool.com between 30th September, 2020 to 13th October, 2020.
The talent show is open to children across Tamil Nadu. The contest aims at bringing out the unique skills children might have acquired during the lockdown phase.
Speaking at the launch of the online platform, Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, Founder and Chairman, Vels Group of Institutions said, “COVID-19 has ushered us into a new normal and Vels Talensia would be a welcome change for the children. Learning can happen in any form and is not restricted only to academics. This talent show aims at celebrating every child’s talent. I urge the participants to get innovative and send in their entries. We will continue to engage with our audiences digitally and embrace the opportunities that come along the way to make learning more holistic’.
Vels Talensia will go live on 30th September 2020 and the participants will be allowed to register and share their entries till 13th October 2020. After uploading their entries on the online platform, participants will be able to share the online link of their entries among family and friends to garner votes. The voting process for the event will go live from 14th October 2020 and will conclude on 21st October 2020. The winners for the event will be based solely on the number of votes garnered for the video and the results will be announced on 25th October 2020. Awards include cash prizes for winners in different age categories and e-certificates for all participants to encourage their efforts.
