Veranda XL signs MoU with SDNB Vaishnav College for Women to offer B.Com Professional Accounting UG Program along with value-added CA coaching program
CHENNAI : In line with the target of achieving Rs 600 crore over the next five years through institutional partnerships, J.K. Shah Classes (a brand of Veranda XL), which is a subsidiary of Veranda Learning Solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SDNB Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai, to introduce a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program enriched with a Chartered Accountancy (CA) course. This initiative aims to provide students with a robust academic foundation and practical expertise in commerce and accountancy.
J.K. Shah Classes, with a legacy of over 40 years and having produced over 1800 all-India rankers, will deliver the value-added CA course, ensuring students receive industry-relevant knowledge and skills. The inclusion of CA coaching within the B.Com program prepares students to meet the rigorous demands of the CA exams while they complete their undergraduate degree, saving time and effort in their pursuit of professional qualifications. This early exposure to CA coursework allows students to build a solid foundation in critical areas such as financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and strategic financial management. This dual program enhances their employability, making them suitable for a wide range of roles such as financial analysts, auditors, tax consultants, and management accountants.
