Vice Chancellor constitutes Committee to rectify errors on notice boards

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor has constituted a three-member committee comprising Prof Shafey Kidwai, Prof Siraj Ajmali and Prof Mohammad Ali Johar, Chairman, Department of Urdu to look into the matter of misspelt Urdu words on the notice boards of the University, installed in the recent renovation drive.

The step has been taken after the Vice Chancellor took a serious note of inadvertently misprinted Urdu words.

“The committee will submit its report in three days to rectify the printing errors on notice boards. AMU is fully committed to promote Urdu, embodying our rich cultural heritage and glorious past”, said Prof Mansoor.
