Vice Chancellor Releases Hall Magazine “Al-Qalam”

 

Aligarh : The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Prof. Naima Khatoon, unveiled the 2023 edition of the Sir Syed Hall (South) annual magazine, “Al-Qalam,” in a special ceremony at her office today.

The latest issue of “Al-Qalam,” focusing on India’s G20 Presidency, promises to captivate readers with its exploration of the summit’s theme, agenda, and implications. It features articles by students and faculty in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Provost of Sir Syed Hall (South), emphasized this during the release ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Irfan Ul Haq (Warden), Md Ehtashamul Islam Khan (Senior Hall), Mohd Ubaid (Editor-in-Chief), and all members of the editorial board.

Md. Nadir Alam serves as the editor for the English section, while Ali Qummi and Obaidullah Shameem edit the Hindi and Urdu sections, respectively. Editorial board members Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed and Arish Ajhar were also present at the event.

In her congratulatory message, Vice Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon praised the residents of Sir Syed Hall (South) and commended the efforts of the Provost, Wardens, and editorial teams for their dedication in producing the magazine. She wished them continued success in the future.
