Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar addresses concluding session of CLI program under UNFF

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has called for collective action by all countries to deal with the challenge of climate change and environmental protection.

Expressing concern over the indiscriminate exploitation of natural resources, Shri Dhankhar said that there is a dire need to take comprehensive initiatives to increase people’s participation to protect the environment.

He was addressing the concluding session of the ‘Country Led Initiative’ (CLI) program under the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF) at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, today. More than 70 delegates from 40 countries and 20 International Organisations, both in person and online participated in this two-day meeting.
