Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar  stresses on women’s role in nation’s progress  

 

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar today stressed the significance of women in advancing a nation.

 

New Delhi: Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar stressed on the need of the  business women of the country playing crucial role in progress of the nation and help elevate the status of the country . Women are the backbone of he country’s economic development

 

“The women are the change and they are catalyzing change the world belongs to them and the world has to be shaped by them. the role of women in parliament is enormous and their presence by itself will surcharge the atmosphere. As a result of effective governance, women empowerment has  enabled us to be principal participants in the marathon for Bharat@2047 “ said Shri Jagdeep Dhankar , Hon Vice President of India , while speaking at the culmination program of 40 years of FICCI ladies organization (FLO) .

 

“I have seen women empowerment very closely and my pillars of strength have been both my grandmothers, my mother and my wife, who stood behind me as rocks. It is because of their confidence that I am what I am today.” Said Shri Dhankhar .

 

“The women have  pivotal role in the Indian democracy. He urged corporates to actively support the education of girls, highlighting their significance as the primary stakeholders in the democratic process. With technological penetration, society is changing fast and young women must ensure that they are financially independent. “ he said .

 

“women play a crucial role in financial decisions and can help elevate the status of the country. We are no longer the nation defined by its potential. We are a nation realising its potential. We are a nation enabling global powers to realise their potential. It is time to seize this incredible momentum, harness the transparency, leverage the economic boom, and turn opportunities into personal masterpieces.” He added .

 

“Citing that extraordinary infrastructural growth, widespread technology penetration, rapid pace of digitisation and a commitment to transparent and accountable governance were no longer buzzwords but ground reality, Dhankhar drew attention to India’s “economic vitality”. He concluded .

 

“Today, FLO has grown manifolds to stand as a beacon of empowerment, with a membership of over 10,000 women entrepreneurs and professionals across Delhi and 19 pan India chapters.  This impressive growth is a representation of the dedication and hard work of our members, who have enthusiastically embraced our mission of empowering women and promoting gender equality.” Said Ms Sudha  Shivkumar , National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO)
