VidyaGyan Announces Admission Open for its 2022-23 Academic Session

The VidyaGyan Leadership Academy has opened its admission process for the academic session of 2022-23 to allow meritorious, economically underprivileged, rural students of Uttar Pradesh access best educational opportunities. A free, residential school by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, VidyaGyan will select students to study in Grades 6 and 7 at its two campuses in Bulandshahr and Sitapur. Eligibility criteria:

Students should belong to rural, low-income households (with a combined family income of not more than Rs.1 lakh per annum).
To apply for admission in Grade VI and Grade VII, the student should be studying in Grade V and VI respectively in a rural school
Age of girls:
Minimum 10 years and maximum 12 years for Grade VI and 14 years or less for Grade VII
Age of boys:
Minimum 11 years and maximum 12 years for Grade VI and minimum 11 years and maximum 13 years for Grade VII

The three-stage admission process will include:

Preliminary written test (offline) in all districts of UP to be held in March 2022
Written test for children shortlisted in the preliminary round
Interaction with the selected students and their families
Established in 2009, VidyaGyan has transformed the lives of several students and their families over the last decade. Manu Chauhan, who graduated from the school in 2021, has secured admission at Stanford University in the US, among the top three universities in the world, on a 100% scholarship. Sachin Agrawal from VidyaGyan 2017 batch cleared the revered UPSC exam in his first attempt and will be joining the service soon.

 

The VidyaGyan alumni are now working at some of the leading organizations in the world. Amrish Nayak from VidyaGyan 2017 batch has graduated from Purdue University in the US and has secured a job with Wellnecity as a data engineer in the US. Anuj Dhariwal from the 2017 batch has been commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Other alumni are today working at organizations including Coal India, Amazon, Byju’s and BNP Paribas among others.

 

Every year, the VidyaGyan graduates secure admission at leading colleges and universities in India as well as globally. Students are studying at institutions including the IITs, NITs, IIMs, AIIMS and NDA among others. In the US, students are enrolled at the best institutions with 100% scholarship.
