Vidyamandir Classes (VMC) organizes free health checkup camp for its students
Empowered by their motto – ‘Students First’, India’s leading coaching institute for JEE & NEET preparations, Vidyamandir classes (VMC) organized a free health check up camp for all its students, staff and their family members in association with Fortis Healthcare, today.
In an endeavor to bring awareness about the importance of regular health checkups and promote ‘Fit mind in Fit Body’, VMC had organized this Multi-specialty Mega Health camp at their PitamPura Centre from 11 AM to 5 PM, witnessing a huge participation from students, VMC staff and their family members, who were benefited with the consultations, medical services and tests.
All the attendees were offered medical consultation by Senior Doctors of Fortis healthcare. Free Blood Pressure Checkup and Blood sugar services were offered to the participants, to create awareness about various health issues with the increasing age and stressful lifestyle. Other tests including ECG, were also conducted on doctor’s recommendation. People often ignore their health and do not take proper diet, to monitor this, their height, weight and overall fitness was also screened to give them proper consultation.
“VMC, apart from ensuring best quality education which inspires students to be lifelong learners, also wishes to empower them to be productive and lead a healthy lifestyle. Through this free health check-up camp, we would like to bring awareness that various health ailments can be prevented and controlled for whole life by following a healthy lifestyle, from a young age.” Said Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Chief Business Officer (CBO), Vidyamandir Classes.
The main motive of the camp was to encourage students to opt for their regular screenings, and due importance was also given to various health ailments associated with the students age. This camp organized by VMC for its students, is an example of yet another student centric measure taken by the leading institute, which is apt with their motto – ‘Because We care!’
