Vigilance awareness week observed online

 

ALIGARH  : Ghulam Mohiuddin, a student of class X won the first prize in online speech competition in English on ‘Vigilant India, Prosperous India’, while Md Miraj Alam (Class VIII) and Essudeen (Class X) bagged the second and third prizes respectively.

Similarly, Aman Chaudhri (Class X), Bharti Yadav (Class V) and Preeti (Class X) won the first, second and third prizes, respectively in the Hindi speech competition held on the topic, ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat’

The event was organized online by the Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Aligarh Muslim University marking the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2021’ that underlined the theme, ‘Independent India@75: Self Reliance with Integrity’.

An online integrity pledge was also administered.

Dr Naila Rashid (Principal) urged the participants to remain vigilant against corruption and maintain the highest level of personal integrity.

The competition was judged by Mrs Sadia Nasir, PGT English, Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys). Mr Sirajuddin Sheikh (Music teacher) presented a patriotic song.

The programme was conducted by Dr Bushra Abbasi (PGT History) conducted the programme while Mr Niaz Ahmad Khan (PGT Urdu) proposed a vote of thanks.
