Vikasit Bharat: Voice of Youth programme held

ALIGARH : The students of Aligarh Muslim University City Girls’ High School participated in an observational programme to celebrate the “Vikasit bharat@2047: Voice of Youth” drive launched by the Government of India. They also participated in the thematic discussion on Empowered Indians (Education, Health, Sports, Nari Shakti, Caring Society, Culture) and upheld the significance of involving youth in these areas to make India a progressive country and transform it into the number one nation in the world.

The students who actively participated in the week-long discussion included Nabeela Javed, Noor Zara, Ilma Jameel, Insha Fatima and Shifa Ansari.

The School Principal, Dr Mohd Alamgir said that the youth of the country have a greater role to play in taking India into a new era and make it a leader in the world by the year 2047, when it will be celebrating hundred years of its independence. He urged the students to make efforts to get excellence in their studies and always try to do justice to the resources and time they have on their disposal.
