Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Continues to Empower Citizens in Palakkad

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Central Government’s flagship schemes, has made significant progress in Palakkad district. Yesterday, the Yatra successfully engaged with local communities in Thenkurissi Junction and Kottayi, spreading awareness and empowering individuals with knowledge about various social welfare and development programs.

Thenkurissi Event Highlights Positive Impact of PM’s Flagship Schemes. The Thenkurissi event commenced under the leadership of Kuzhalmannam Block Panchayat President T K Devadas and Thenkurissi Gramapanchayat President Bhargavan, both of whom commended the Central Government’s efforts in bringing the benefits of these schemes directly to the people.

The event showcased the positive impact of the Prime Minister’s flagship schemes, with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM PRANAM, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Oushadhi, Khelo India, and Farmer Producer Company sharing their firsthand experiences. Notably, Kottayi Gramapanchayat achieved 100% saturation under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna.

Interactive Quiz and Cultural Events Engage Participants.

In a unique and engaging initiative, Day Nodal Officer and Canara Bank Thenkurissi Branch Manager Syamjith conducted a quiz on the details of the flagship schemes, fostering interactive learning among participants. Cultural events further enlivened the atmosphere, attracting approximately 600-700 attendees.

Drone Demo Highlights FACT-Krishi Vigyan Kendra Collaboration

The drone demo was conducted by FACT and Krishi Vigyan Kendra jointly at both the locations. This collaboration showcased the effective use of technology to enhance agricultural productivity.

As the Yatra continues its journey, it will reach the Parali and Pirayiri Gramapanchayats tomorrow, continuing to spread awareness and empower communities with knowledge about the Central Government’s commitment to their well-being.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has emerged as a powerful tool for bridging the gap between the Government and its citizens, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach those who need them most. The Yatra’s success in Palakkad sets a benchmark for future outreach initiatives aimed at empowering and transforming the lives of citizens across the nation.
