Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra enters 26th Day in Ramban – Empowering Panchayats with government initiatives

 

RAMBAN : Guided by the visionary leadership of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra entered 26th day in Ramban, marking a significant milestone. The Yatra, a resounding success, has covered 136 Panchayats making substantial strides towards its mission of inclusion for all Panchayats in the district.

In its journey through Ramban, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made a profound impact on four hilly Panchayats: Mahu Upper, Sarachi, Sarbagni-A, and Sarbagni-B. The event saw the active participation of the stakeholder departments, each contributing to the dissemination of crucial information about government initiatives at their respective stalls.

With a dedicated focus on community empowerment through awareness about flagship schemes, the event featured a range of activities. This included Sankalp pledge ceremonies, informative sessions by officers and officials from multiple departments engaging with the general public. Notable schemes highlighted encompassed Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Poshan Abhiyan etc.

The vibrancy of the event was accentuated by interactive sessions, including a captivating drone demonstration showcasing technological advancements in the Agriculture area and also nutritional awareness by Poshan (ICDS) officials.

The event went beyond awareness, providing access to free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Beneficiaries of various schemes shared their positive experiences through the ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ initiative, adding a personal touch to the Yatra’s impact on the lives of the community.
