VIT-AP University organizes Freshers orientation program

 

 

Amaravati  : VIT-AP University organized a new students orientation program today in the campus. Freshers orientation is a crucial event in the university’s academic calendar designed to welcome and assist incoming students as they transition into the university environment. Orientation provides a platform for new students to become acquainted with the university’s culture, resources, and expectations. It helps them adjust to the academic and social aspects of campus life.

 

Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Muthazhaghi, Chairman VITAA (Vellore Institute of Technology Alumni Association) said orientation introduces students to various support services, such as counseling centers, Educational programs, and career development offices, which are essential for their well-being and success. Orientation informs students about extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations they can join, as well as research opportunities, internships, and study abroad programs. Students must strive hard to excel in their academic career to meet their parents expectations.

 

Elaborating more on the significance of the orientation program Dr.S.V. KOTA Reddy – Vice-Chancellor – VIT-AP University, outlined the university’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. This helps the students understand the institution’s overarching objectives and priorities. He highlighted the achievements and milestones of the university and its students. This includes academic accomplishments, research breakthroughs, community engagement, and more. In his motivational and inspirational speech, he encouraged students to strive for excellence, embrace challenges, and make a positive impact on society.
