Washington State University Appoints Vice President For Finance And Administration

Beginning Feb. 4, Matt Skinner will serve as interim vice president for finance and administration at Washington State University.

Skinner will lead the department until the arrival of Leslie Brunelli on May 1. Brunelli was announced as the next executive vice president for finance and administration earlier this month, taking over for Stacy Pearson, whose last day will be Friday.

Skinner currently serves as associate vice president for finance and administration and deputy CFO, providing expertise and leadership in strategic financial forecasting, debt management and payroll, among other functions. He also previously served as interim vice president for information technology and WSU’s chief information officer for seven months in 2015.

Skinner has served WSU for nearly two decades, joining the university as a budget policy analyst in May 2003. He also holds a masters of business administration degree from WSU.
