Water testing kits distributed among PRI’s of Kulgam

Kulgam: In order to impart training to Sarpanchs, Panches and Pani-Samitis Jal Shakti Department, Kulgam today organized a day long programme here at conference hall Kulgam.

During the programme the experts gave a detailed presentation about the procedures including in checking the water quality.

The Programme was attended by DDC Chairperson, and other DDC members, BDC’s, Sarpanchs and Panchs besides, Exen Jal Shakti Department Kulgam and other Officers of the department were present.

Later the District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat along with District Development Council Chairperson Mohammad Afzal distributed water testing Kits among the PRI members.

The Deputy Commissioner also highlighted the importance of conservation and preservation of water and other resources and stressed to make judicious use of water.
