Web talk on NET/JRF preparations

Aligarh: “The aspirants must not only qualify the NET/JRF with a good score, but they should target to crack the exam in the first attempt,” said Mohd Farooq, research scholar, Department of Computer Science, who qualified the exam in 2019.

Delivering a web talk on ‘How to Crack UGC NET/JRF’ organised by the Department of Computer Science; Farooq discussed meticulous and intelligently planned study routine, essential to qualify the exam.

He urged students to analyse previous papers, revise the basics, practice mock tests and to keep a positive attitude.

Farooq also discussed the important strategies and shared useful online study resources for the preparation.

In the welcome address, Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science, said that appropriate efforts are being made to benefit UGC NET/JRF aspirants in the department.

“20 students cracked NET/JRF after learning strategies from resource persons in previous web talks,” he added.

Programme coordinators, Dr Faisal Anwer, Dr Mohammad Sajid and Dr Mohammad Nadeem said that lectures like these are helping students to understand the best methods to study for the exam.
