Web talk on Plurality of Languages

Aligarh: Prof E Annamalai, Visiting Professor, Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations, University of Chicago, USA will deliver a web talk on ‘Plurality of Languages in the Post Liberal World’ organised by the Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on August 21 from 6: 00 pm.

According to Professor Mohammad Jahangeer Warsi, Chairman, Department of Linguistics, he will discuss linguistic diversity and language evolution and how languages show large numbers of dimensions that are relevant for any hypothesis on language evolution among other topics.
