Webinar held on India and West Asia in the shifting global order
ALIGARH : “The transformative shifts in the global power structures have greater implications for India’s relations with the West Asia and the growing interdependence between the regions in the domains of energy, trade and security underscores the need for collaborative strategies to navigate the challenges of the 21st century,” said Prof Mohammad Gulrez while delivering keynote address at a webinar organized by the Department of West Asian and North African Studies, Aligarh Muslim University.
The webinar was organized on “India and West Asia in the Shifting Global Order” to engage the faculty members and students in a discussion on evolving dynamics of global geopolitics and the intricate interplay between India and West Asia.
Earlier, welcoming the speakers and participants, Prof. Mohammad Azher, Chairman, Department of West Asian and North African Studies stressed the relevance of the webinar in the understanding of rapidly changing global order and its impact on the West Asian region.
Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, former Dean, Faculty of International Studies, extended a vote of thanks.
Mohd Ubaid, a research scholar, coordinated the event, while Rounak Shahi moderated the proceedings.
