Aligarh : Prof Nisar Ahmad Khan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) provided students with useful insight on career prospects in different fields.
He was delivering the keynote address on ‘Career Counselling’ in the national webinar of the Student Counselling Centre.
Prof Nisar urged the students to choose appropriate careers that complement their abilities and skills the most.
He provided an informed and instructive guidance to help students know and understand themselves and the choices they have to make for their educational, career and life decisions.
Mohammad Zamir Hussain (Mumbai based Career Analyst and Consultant) discussed requisites of entering the corporate world.
He informed the students about the latest advancements and changes in the industry and advised them to develop a multidimensional approach.
Dr S Reshma Jamal (Coordinator, Students’ Counselling Centre) made students aware about the additional skills required for exploring greater opportunities.
Saad Hameed (General Training and Placement Officer) spoke about community support to help youngsters for career decisions.
Dr Asif Hasan extended the vote of thanks, while Rikza Pervez conducted the programme.
