Webinar on ‘Divine and other Religious Books history and introduction’

Aligarh : A two-day international webinar on ‘Divine and other Religious Books history and introduction’ will be organised by the Faculty of Theology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with Islamic Fiqh Academy, New Delhi on June 26-27, 2021.

Prof M Saud Alam Qasmi, Dean and the director of the webinar informed that AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor will inaugurate the webinar which will be presided over by Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi, Director, Sir Syed Academy, AMU.

The webinar will feature a number of renowned scholars including Prof Akhtarul Wasey, President, Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur; Prof Bhai Baldeep Singh, Founder, Anad Foundation, New Delhi; Dr Saamdu Chetri, former Executive Director, Gross National Happiness Centre, Bhutan; Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali, Shahi Imam-e-Eidgah, Lucknow; Dr Muhammad Saeed Noori, Founder and President, the Raza Academy, Mumbai; Revd Fr Jonathan Lal, City Methodist Church, Aligarh; Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, General Secretary, Islamic Fiqh Academy, India; and Swami Purnanand Puri Ji Maharaj, President, Vishva Kalyan Seva Sansthan, Aligarh.
