Webinar on Innovation and Personality Development

Aligarh : The Training and Placement Cell, University Polytechnic, AMU organized a webinar on “Innovation and Personality Development”. Prof Arshad Umar, Principal, University Polytechnic and the invited speaker Dr Shadma Parveen, Strategic HR and Education Consultant, Corporate Trainer (Sharjah, UAE)., deliberated on several key factors associated with innovation and personality development.

Prof Arshad Umar in his introductory address at the meet; emphasized that innovation has been key to human development and in present times, it is apparent that this day and age is most suitable to those who are able to devise innovative ideas. He further cited Facebook, Google, Amazon as few of the numerous modern examples of innovation and creativity of individuals which lead to revolutions of immeasurable proportions.

Prof Umar further added that personality development is an area which has attracted maximum attention of late due to ever-increasing competition among job seekers.

Dr Mohd. Faisal Khan, Training and Placement Officer, University Polytechnic and Convener of webinar introduced the objectives and theme of the webinar to the participants.

In her address Dr Shadma, highlighted the concepts of innovation and creativity, creative thinking processes and techniques, assertiveness, emotional intelligence and active listening.

The proceedings were conducted by Mohd. Umar Rehman, Assitant Professor, EES while Mohd. Naved Qureishi, Assistant TPO proposed the vote of thanks.
