Webinar on Neuropsychological Consequences of Covid
Aligarh : Dr Jai Prakash (Additional Professor, Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences-RINPAS) discussed how the pandemic stimulated a global academic response to examine the clinical sequelae and biology of Covid including its neurological and neuropsychiatric impact.
He was speaking in the webinar on ‘Neuropsychological Consequences of COVID 19 and its Management’ of the Students Counselling Centre, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Dr Prakash outlined the problems that are most likely to be referred to a neurologist following Covid and delved into the pathological mechanisms underpinning the Covid infection and its impacts on the brain.
He also discussed the rehabilitation needs of Covid survivors.
Dr S Reshma Jamal delivered the welcome address and Dr Asif Hasan extended the vote of thanks.
