Webinar on Research Methodology

Aligarh: In a webinar on ‘Research Methodology’ organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Prof Arif Iqbal (Dept of Electrical Engineering, Qatar University, Doha) discussed how researchers need to formulate their problem and present their result from the data obtained during the study period.

He elaborated that the most important methodological choice researchers make is based on the distinction between qualitative and quantitative data.

Prof Iqbal further discussed essentials for publishing research papers in peer reviewed journals and outlined roles of editors, reviewers and researchers.

“One hundred and twelve, advanced students and researchers from all over the world attended the webinar,” said Prof Imtiaz Ashraf, Chairman, Department of Electrical Engineering.
