Webinar on Technology Trends, Corporate Culture and Career held
Aligarh: With a view to adopt modern technology as per latest corporate market trends and equipping students with relevant knowledge for planning a better career prospect, Department of Computer Science, AMU organizes a series of webinars. The first webinar of this series was held on the topic “Technology Trends, Corporate Culture and Career Growth ” on 3rd July.
Around 225 participants registered for the Webinar, out of which 25 teachers, 10 participants from Industry and 190 students participants were from local, national and International Universities.
Prof Qazi Mazhar Ali, Dean, Faculty of Science addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of Prof Aasim Zafar, Chairperson for organizing webinar on such contemporary and useful topic in this pandemic testing times. He expressed confidence that more alumni of the Department will come forward with the same zeal.
Mr Rajit Sikka, Head, Academic Relations – North India, TCS Ltd while interacting with the audience said that AMU is an Institution of repute and TCS being one of the leading IT giants considers AMU as one of its valued partners. He expressed his desire to further strengthen the AMU-TCS relationship through other possible cooperation in future.
Prof Aasim Zafar, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science in his welcome address said that the Department of Computer Science has a number of illustrious alumni. The idea is to primarily connect such illustrious alumni with the present lot of fresh technocrats so that they may benefit from the rich real life experiences of their seniors.
Mr Tahseen Ahmad, an alumnus of the Department of Computer Science, currently working as ‘Sales & Solution Head’, Central Europe – Cognitive Business Operations (CBO), IT Infrastructure Services, Duesseldorf, Germany, gave an overview about recent Industrial trends and explained how the students can make a better career prospect in IT Industry. He also took the question session.
