Webinar will prove to be a milestone under the direction of NITI Aayog for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the webinars to be held from August 7 to 11 will prove to be a milestone in the ongoing preparations in the state for the road map being made for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Youth must also be linked with each webinar to prepare a road map by getting the views and suggestions of subject experts, senior officers, economists as regard to the infrastructure, employment, health, education, economy and good governance in Madhya Pradesh under the direction of NITI Aayog. Along with this, field officers like Collectors, Commissioners and senior administrative officers posted in the capital besides ministers should give practical suggestions from their experiences. The public will be apprised of the road map. The road map will be implemented in the next three years. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was holding discussions with Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and senior officials through video conference from Chirayu Hospital. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will inaugurate the webinar on August 7th.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held a discussion with Additional Chief Secretaries Shri Mohammad Suleman, Shri S.N. Mishra, Dr. Rajesh Rajoura and Shri ICP Kesri regarding the preparations for the webinar to be organized for four days in connection with the roadmap to be implemented in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that points decided for discussions in separate groups, invitation for participation to experts, task for the inclusion of the necessary topics before preparation of the road map for implementation should be systematically completed. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the discussion in the webinar should be meaningful, there should be full participation of the Department of Public Service Management and various sessions of the webinar should be conducted according to the points set by the Institute of Good Governance.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains said that the preparations for the webinar are almost complete. Invitations have been sent to the delegates. The outline of the sessions is being finalized in consultation with the NITI Aayog. Efforts are being made that representatives of national institutes based in Bhopal and Indore should also attend the webinar. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Manish Rastogi informed that efforts have been made to ensure participation of representatives of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and other prestigious institutions.

The four additional chief secretaries, in charge of the webinar gave a sector wise briefing of the work done and suggestions received for the road map of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Along with the priorities of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, suggestions received in the brainstorming held in previous years will also be discussed in the webinar.
