Week-long workshop on research Methodology concludes
ALIGARH : The Telugu Section, Department of Modern Indian Languages, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a week-long national workshop on “Research Methodology,” which began in online mode on November 18, 2024.
Prof. T. N. Satheesan, Chairperson, Department of Modern Indian Languages, said that the workshop consisted of 11 sessions covering various topics pertaining to research, including contemporary research trends, selection of research topic, plagiarism, research methods, literary research, literary criticism, hypothesis, research paper writing, research ethics, Telugu computational linguistics, and the research content.
He said that 39 postgraduate students and research scholars of Telugu literary studies from 17 educational institutions from across India attended the workshop, while senior faculty members and experts from leading academic institutions such as Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, Telangana University, Nizamabad, University of Hyderabad, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and Yogi Vemana University, Vemana Puram delivered lectures during the workshop.
Dr. Pathan Khasim Khan, In-charge of the Telugu Section, said that Prof. Veludanda Nityananda Rao, Vice Chancellor, Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad delivered the valedictory address.
