WileyNXT & IIT Roorkee ready to begin third cohort of Post-Graduate Certification in AI for BFSI
New Delhi : Wiley’s innovative bridge learning solution WileyNXT, in association with one of the leading technology institutions based in India, the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, announces its third cohort of Post Graduate Certification in AI for BFSI. Developed by the top faculty of IIT Roorkee, supported by Wiley Innovation Advisory Council and leading business leaders in emerging technologies, the third batch of the program will commence from November 14, 2021. The postgraduate learning program aims to provide in-demand Deep AI, ML and Deep Learning skills, techniques, and tools along with their applications in the real-world context of the BFSI (banking, financial services, and insurance) industry.
The immersive IIT-Roorkee AI program encompassing six months of tenure has been designed for recent graduates from BE, BTech, MTech, BCA, MCA and tech professionals aspiring for high growth AI career in BFSI. The course integrates classes by esteemed IIT Roorkee Faculty, expert Wiley faculty and classes by top industry experts of India aiming to deliver relevant skills and learning along with helping aspirants unlock new avenues and opportunities in jobs profiles such as Data Scientist, Data Analyst, AI Engineer, NLP Engineer, Product Manager- ML, Retail Analyst & Research Engineer.

According to a report by the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), it was found that women’s share in India’s technology industry consists of only 35%. To encourage women in technology, the AI in BFSI program by IIT Roorkee and WileyNXT also offer #TechitLikeHer Scholarship to the highest scoring female candidate in the pre-assessment examination. Maria Pratyusha and Anandhi K. have been recipients of this scholarship in the past.
