Winners of Olympiads felicitated
ALIGARH : The students of ABK High School (Girls), Aligarh Muslim University, who have won different Olympiads organized by various organizations, were felicitated at a prize distribution ceremony held at the school.
In her address, the Vice Principal, Dr Saba Hasan highlighted the importance of academic competitions like Olympiads in promoting intellectual capacity and a thirst for knowledge among students. She urged the students to utilize their holidays in a beneficial way and make efforts to learn new skills that will contribute to their personal, academic and overall growth. She suggested students to help the marginalized people in society by teaching them on the pattern of adult education scheme.
The Coordinator of the Olympiads, Ms Shahnaz stressed the importance of perseverance, dedication and sportsmanship in academic pursuits and urged the students to keep participating in Olympiads with good preparation.
Some of the students who received the prizes included Swaleha Sultan Umer, Nekvarna Sharma, Hiba Fatima, Namrata Sharma, Siddhi Vashishtha, Vivek, Priyamvada Shukla, Simran Gaur and Kanika Jadaun, who qualified the first level of Silverzone Olympiads. Students were given gold, silver and bronze medals in different subjects of the Olympiads.
