Work on roadmap of Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh to begin from September 01
Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a roadmap of Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh is being prepared to realize the Atma-Nirbhar Bharat of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Important suggestions have been received during the 4-day webinar to achieve this goal. Groups of Ministers are being formed to give final shape to the roadmap by incorporating these suggestions. Groups of Ministers will present their draft by August 25. After the contemplation with the members of the NITI Aayog, the final shape to the roadmap of Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh will be given by August 31 and this will be implemented by September 01 in the state with a target of the next 3 years.
The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan further mentioned that ‘Physical Infrastructure’ group will comprise Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava besides other ministers and the coordinating officer will be Shri I.C.P. Keshri. ‘Good Governance’ group will have Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra besides other ministers and the coordinating officer will be Shri S.N. Mishra. ‘Education and Health’ Group will comprise Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang besides other ministers and its coordinating officer will be Shri Mohammad Suleman. Similarly, the Economy and Employment group will comprise Minister Shri Jagdish Dewda besides other ministers and the coordinating officer will be Dr. Rajesh Rajoura. Shri Chouhan was addressing the concluding session of the 4–day webinar today.
Promotion to indigenous medical treatment Culture and employment oriented education
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that indigenous medical treatment methods like Ayush, tribal medical method, yoga etc. will be promoted in the state. On the other hand our education will be culture and employment oriented. We don’t have to follow west blindly. Vocational course will be started from class 6 itself. Traditional knowledge will be documented and fully equipped schools will be promoted. A ‘PrakharYojana’ will be introduced to hone talents.
Promotion to tourism
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that keeping in view the vast scope in tourism in Madhya Pradesh, tourism will be promoted. ‘Buffer me Safar’ is a good suggestion. To boost religious tourism, development of Mahakaleshwar, Ramraja Mandir, Datia, Maihar, Salkanpur etc. will be carried out. The Narmada Path and Ram Van Gaman Path will be developed.
One District One Identity
Work will be done to highlight the best characteristic of each and every district of the state. ‘Local’ will be made ‘Vocal’. Efforts will be made to ensure that every village and town become self-reliant. Small and Cottage industry will be promoted in the state.
One Nation One Market
Work will be started to realize the concept of ‘One Nation One Market’ to ensure maximum value of farmers’ produce. Effective implementation of the amendments, made in the Mandi Act will be ensured. Farmer Producer Organizations will be strengthened. Organic farming will be promoted. Madhya Pradesh has potential to fulfill the need of edible oil of the whole country. For this, edible oil and pulses will be promoted in the state.
Efforts to be made to increase export of agricultural produce
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that the state is well known for its bumper agriculture production, but our agriculture export is just 0.8 percent. Efforts will be made to increase the export. Food processing industries, cold storage and other agricultural produce processing will be promoted. Animal husbandry and dairy sector will also be developed in the state.
Establishment of Global Park
In order to promote M.S.M.E., Global Park will be set up in the state and small craftsmen and traders will be linked with it. Full heed will be paid to ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and ‘Ease of Living’ in the state. It will be ensured that common man lead a comfortable life in the state.
Start Your Business in 30 Days
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that “Ease of Doing Business” will be implemented effectively in the state. The process of setting up industries will be made so simple that we will be able to say to any entrepreneur that “Start your business in 30 days”. MSME will be integrated. Work will be done on the Mukhya Mantri Dakshata Samvardhan Yojana.
Arrangement of “Out of budget fund’
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a team of senior officers will be constituted to generate “Out of Budget Fund” for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, which will work in this regard. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan thanked all the ministers, subject matter experts, members of NITI Aayog, etc. for joining the webinar.
Processing of agricultural produce will have to be enco
uragedCEO, Planning Commission Shri Amitabh Kant said that agriculture accounts for 42 percent share in the SGDP of Madhya Pradesh, but there is a shortage of industries based on agricultural produce here. Processing of agricultural produce will be encouraged in the state. Along with this, there is a need to promote tourism industry and e-commerce in the state.
Excellent work done in health sector
Shri Amitabh Kant said that very good work has been done in the field of health, institutional delivery, vaccination etc. in Madhya Pradesh. There is a need to improve the work of reducing maternal and infant mortality in the state. He stressed the need to open medical colleges in every district of the state. These can be opened in P.P.P. mode.
Madhya Pradesh has changed completely
Subject expert Shri S. Gurumurty said that Madhya Pradesh has changed completely under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. It is no longer a sick state but is a developed and prosperous state. Madhya Pradesh will also be the leader in building Atmanirbhar Bharat. Madhya Pradesh has made unprecedented progress in the field of agriculture and the state is not lagging behind in other areas.
