Workshop and Hands-on Training on “Computerized Sewing Machines”

Aligarh: The Women’s Polytechnic, AMU organized a two – Day hands –on training workshop for teachers, and students of IInd and IVth Semester of Diploma in Costume Design & Dress Making,

Product Manager and skilled trainers explained the functions of computerized machine 450E Usha-Janome supplemented with hands-on training on drawings and line art into embroidery, 5X faster scanning than previous models, high definition LCD display. The Trainers also demonstrated other user-friendly functional and technical aspects.

The workshop was attended by teachers’, technical staff and students of Diploma Costume Design & Garment Technology & Advance diploma of Interior Decoration and engineering students.

The attendees learnt and prepared fascinating embroidery samples of floral and traditional motifs on different fabrics, said Dr Sheeba Manzoor (OSD-CD & DM Section).
