Workshop on Capacity Building and Personality Development for Female Students

Aligarh: To heighten the personal capacity building and brush up professional career skills, Digital Literacy and Effective Use of Social Media of the students; a one-day online workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Personality Development for the Female Students of UG/PG and Ph.D Programmes of AMU’ will be organised by the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on October 13 at 10 am.

 

“Prof Shireen Moosvi (Former Director, Centre for Women’s Studies) will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural session; while renowned paediatrician, Dr Hameeda Tariq will attend the valedictory session as the Chief Guest. Prof Nisar A. Khan (Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences) will preside over the inaugural session and Prof Ayesha Farooq, Dr Salma Shaheen and Dr Faiza Abbasi are the resource persons”, said Prof Azra Musavi (Director, Centre for Women’s Studies).

 

She added: “Saad Hameed (Training and Placement Officer-General) is scheduled to deliver a talk on various job opportunities”.

 

Dr Shivangini Tandon (Programme Coordinator) and Sheeraz Ahmad (Programme Co-Coordinator) are in the core committee headed by Prof Azra Musavi.
