Workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Personality Development’

 

Aligarh : Female undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D students of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will enhance skills to explore opportunities with innate strengths in the online workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Personality Development’ of the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies on March 15 at 10 am. The programme will be held in collaboration with the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.

“This workshop is designed to help female students build their personal capacity, professional skills, digital literacy and to make them efficient in social media use”, said Prof Azra Musavi (Director, Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies).

She informed: “Shri A Asholi Chalai (Joint Secretary, National Commission for Women) will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural session and Prof Naima Khatoon (Principal, Women’s College) will be the Guest of Honour. Prof Roomana Siddiqui (Department of Psychology) will attend the valedictory session as the Chief Guest in which Prof Nisar A Khan (Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences) will deliver the presidential address”.

“Prof. Ayesha Farooq (Department of Business Administration), Dr Salma Shaheen (Principal, Women’s Polytechnic), Dr Faiza Abbasi (Director, UGC HRD Centre) and Saad Hameed (General Training and Placement Officer) are the resource persons”, said Dr Shivangini Tandon (Programme Coordinator) and Sheeraz Ahmad (Programme Co-Coordinator).
