Workshop on Digital Forensics: Tools Demonstration and Career opportunities

 

Aligarh: The Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized a workshop on the topic “Digital Forensics: Tools Demonstration and Career opportunities”, with an aim to update the students with modern technology and corporate trends and accordingly provide guidance to them for planning for a better career prospect in the domain of cyber security and digital forensics.

Mr Vibhu Anand, Founder and Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Cyint Technologies conducted the session in an interactive way and talked about the importance of digital forensics in today’s challenging time where every activity and transaction is being recorded.

His team that included Hemant Bagasi, General Manager, Rachit Kumar, Technical Support Executive and Yashshvi, Customer Success Executive demonstrated the working of many digital forensics tools and discussed solutions for related problems.

Mr Vibhu emphasized that digital forensics has vast career opportunities and students should acquire necessary skills related to cyber security. He explained various roles available in this field for which the students may prepare themselves. The team of Cyint Technologies answered all the queries raised by the students.

At the end of the session, an online quiz was organised on the spot to assess the understanding of the digital forensics related knowledge. The participants performed exceptionally well in the quiz.

Earlier, Prof Aasim Zafar, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science welcomed the speakers and the participants. He appreciated the efforts of Dr Faisal Anwer, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the workshop, for organizing the workshop on a relevant topic.

Dr Mohammad Nadeem conducted the session, while Dr Arman Rasool Faridi extended the vote of thanks.

Around 150 participants from the Computer Science and Engineering faculty had registered for the workshop.
