Workshop on Employability Enhancement

Aligarh : To equip the students with essential interview preparation and Curriculum Vitae (CV) writing skills, Computer Science Society (CSS), Department of Computer Science, A.M.U., and Training and Placement Office (General) jointly organized a workshop on the topic “Employability Enhancement” on 5th July, at Conference Hall of the department. A large number of students attended the event.

On this occasion, Prof. Aasim Zafar, Chairperson Department of Computer Science in his welcome said to leave an impact on the recruiter companies, presentation skills are absolutely necessary. He also shared practical tips with the students to perform well in an interview and emphasized that the Department is committed to organize more workshops on such relevant topics in the near future.

The resource person for the workshop Mr Saad Hameed (TPO General) shared with students the tips and techniques to perform well in interviews and how to write an attractive CV. He said that every recruiter is looking for three qualities in the student; technical skills, communication skills and positive attitude.

Dr Parvez Mahmood Khan, Director, Computer Center, AMU and Prof. UbaidullahBokahri, Professor, Department of Computer Science, AMU also joined the event and distributed participation certificates to the students.

The event was moderated by the students of MCA-II Semester; Ms. Afaand and Ms. Aiman Faheem.
