Workshop on neonatal care held at Govt Hospital Sarwal
JAMMU : A workshop on Basic Newborn care and resuscitation Programme was today held at Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu.
The workshop was organised by IAP J&K State Branch in collaboration with Pediatric Department staff comprising Dr Sanjeev Gupta, Sr Consultant Pediatrician; Dr Pooja Kawte, Consultant Pediatrician and Dr Sachit Sharma, Consultant Pediatrician Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu.
Dr Vijay Raina, Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Sarwal inaugurated the workshop and spoke about the importance of resuscitation in Basic New Born Care.
The Workshop was attended by all the Doctors of the Hospital and 16 Doctors and Paramedical Staff were trained in basic neonatal resuscitation. The training was imparted to the participants by State IAP Jammu Instructors Dr Sanjeev Digra, Professor Pediatric Department, SMGS Hospital and Dr Ajay Choudhary, Consultant Pediatrician, SMGS Hospital.
Dr Pooja Kawte, Consultant Pediatrician, Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu was the course coordinator of the workshop.
