Workshop on ‘Research Methodology’ from September 13
Aligarh : Experts will speak on research approaches and methods, literature review, synopsis writing, modes of reading for research, significance of social histories in research, contemporary research trends and ethics of research in a week long online workshop beginning from September 13 on ‘Research Methodology’ of the Tamil Section, Department of Modern Indian Languages, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
“Prof Porko (Former Vice Chancellor, University of Madras) will deliver the valedictory address, while Dr R Tamilselvan (In-charge, Tamil Section, AMU) will organise the programme”, said Prof Kranti Pal (Chairperson, Department of Modern Indian languages).
The workshop will also feature 31 research scholars of Tamil Literary Studies from 27 different institutions and professors from Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), University of Delhi, Central University of Tamil Nadu (Thiruvarur), University of Madras (Chennai), Tamil University (Thanjavur), Bharathidasan University (Tiruchirappalli), Thiruvalluvar University (Vellore), The American College (Madurai) and St. John’s College (Tirunelveli). Participants will present their research synopsis on the final day of the programme.
