Workshop on ‘Soft Skills Development’ at Malappuram Centre
Aligarh : Students of the Malappuram Centre, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) honed their soft skills for holistic career growth in a day-long workshop on ‘Soft Skills Development’ of the Training and Placement Committee, Department of Law held today at the Centre.
“The workshop was planned to inculcate the skills of delegation, cohesiveness and collaboration among students. These skills immensely attract lucrative opportunities”, said the resource person, Mohammed Yashik P (Department of Business Administration, Malappuram Centre).
He provided the students with an understanding of essential interview skills and stress management techniques.
“The importance of great communication cannot be understated. Whether it is day-to-day team communication, or interacting with clients or customers, having great communication skills are essential for working efficiently and effectively – and building rapport with those around you”, said Dr Shanawaz Ahmad Malik (Coordinator, Department of Law, Malappuram Centre).
Dr Shanawaz, Dr Najmudheen T (Assistant DSW of the Centre) and Yashik conducted mock interviews to train students in soft skills.
Dr Raghul V Rajan extended the vote of thanks.
A total of 74 students participated in the workshop.
