Workshop on solving problems on a Raspberry Pi microcomputer

The Artificial Intelligence Center of PetrSU hosted a training event for schoolchildren and students on solving problems on a Raspberry Pi microcomputer.
The workshop was conducted by Nikita Bazhenov, an employee of the Center for Artificial Intelligence, a junior researcher at the data mining laboratory, a lecturer at the Department of Informatics and Mathematical Support. Schoolchildren and students interested in robotics and computer vision took part in the intellectual workshop.

Workshop participants assembled and configured a Raspberry Pi microcomputer , studied basic skills and fundamentals of programming in Python , and also tried laboratory work with image recognition using OpenCV technology , machine vision methods and accelerating computations using the Google Coral neuroprocessor .

Thanks to RoboSkills and CII PetrSU for organizing the workshop “Solving Raspberry PI Problems”! Decent presentation and interesting material did not leave me indifferent,

– Anastasia Taritsyna, student of PetrSU, shared her impressions.

The event was held within the framework of the practical Olympiad TehnoRoboCom 2021 in the direction “Solving Raspberry Pi problems”.
