Workshop on use of Hindi digital Tools at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters

As part of Hindi Pakhwada Celebration at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi a workshop on use of Hindi Digital Tools was conducted by Rajbhasa section for increasing the proficiency of Hindi language on 26.09.2023.

Employees use Hindi in everyday official work to promote the use of Hindi language as part of Rajbhasa Policy, but often it becomes cumbersome to implement it effectively due to various limitations i.e typing Hindi, working knowledge of Hindi especially sentence formation and grammatical errors.

To address this issue, a workshop on the use of Hindi digital tools was organised which was presented by Shri L N Pradhan, Deputy General Manager (Information & Technology). During the session, various Hindi tools like Hindi typing, Hindi Dictation, Hindi translation, use of Hindi Dictionary etc. as available on online mode were presented for practical use in day- to-day work.

Employees after attending the workshop found the workshop very informative, knowledge sharing session and it will become easy to work in Hindi with usage of Hindi digital tools. Further, a Hindi Noting competition for senior officials was conducted as part of Hindi Fortnightly celebration.
