World Environment Day: Municipal Council Rajouri launches clean & green Rajouri campaign

RAJOURI : President of Municipal Council Rajouri, Mohd Arief alongwith Bharat Bhushan, Vice President, EO Municipal Council Rajouri, Mohammad Yaqoob today launched a clean and green Rajouri campaign on World Environment Day.

While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arif said that it is a reminder that we must take good care of our surroundings and this is slogan of Prime Minister, which is being carried out on the ground in Rajouri town today with the help of sanitation workers and volunteers.

On the occasion, the President of Municipal Council Rajouri extended gratitude and best wishes to sanitation workers in honour of World Environment Day, which is being observed in Rajouri.

He also expressed gratitude to EO Municipal Council Rajouri Mohammad Yaqoob and sanitation workers for their continuous efforts in keeping Rajouri clean. During his media appearance President Municipal Council underlined his commitment to better sanitation and the scientific disposal of all types of daily garbage, he also mentioned the two Multi Recovery Facility (MRF) facilities where our polythene and kitchen garbage/wet waste are recycled on a daily basis.

He also congratulated the residents of Rajouri District and the Rajouri Town sanitation employees.

Bharat Bushan Vaid, Vice President, Municipal Council Rajouri, spoke at the event and complimented the Municipal Council Rajouri’s efforts to realise the clean and green Rajouri objective. He also stressed the significance of environmental protection, promising to keep Rajouri clean and green.
