World Health Day Quiz held

Aligarh : The team of Ayesha Noor, Farah Nasir Khan and Eram Kausar emerged as winners in the IAPSM nationwide World Health Day quiz 2024 organized by the Department of Community Medicine, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), under the supervision of Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson of the Department.

The team consisting of Asif Kamal, Syed Bilal Hussain and Mohd Saleem was declared the runner up.

The quiz was conducted in two rounds. In the preliminary round, 47 participants took part. Each team consisted of 3 students. In this round the quiz was conducted individually and total scores of each team were calculated at the end of the quiz. Out of this, 4 teams qualified for the final round, wherein 4 rounds were conducted. The round 1 (rotation round) was conducted by Dr. Shivangi Kumari, round 2 (visual round) was led by Dr. Ragul JS, Round 3 (MCQ round) was conducted by Dr. Syed Sohaib Hashmi, and round 4 (Rapid Fire) was conducted by Dr. Ajitha A. At the end, scores were calculated and the winners were announced by Dr. Mohd. Yasir Zubair.

Prof. Saira Mehnaz encouraged the students and congratulated the quiz team for successfully conducting the programme. Dr. Ali Jafar Abedi and Dr. Tabbasum Nawab appreciated the winning team and certificates were distributed to the participants.
