WORLD HRD Congress 2019 – Future Of World At Work

New Delhi: TIMES Ascent an affiliate of the Times of India Group & WORLD HRD CONGRESS 2019 have conferred the prestigious award of “CEO With HR Orientation” to Mr. Pravir Krishna. This is the Highest Recognition, World HRD Congress can confer on any individual. The Award consists of a trophy and citation. This was awarded to Mr. Krishna at the 27th Edition of the Congress held on 15th February,19 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. This award recognises people with a vision and mission to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  Mr. Krishna with his tireless efforts has added tribal entrepreneurs in thousands to the supply chain of Tribes India. 

The Congress is governed by a Global and National Advisory Council that guides the strategic intent of the event, leading it to its success. It is the largest rendezvous of HR Professionals. PSU contributes to the Economic Growth & Prosperity of Nation Building. The PSU sector has immensely supported the activities of Nation Building through HR and CSR. The Congress has recognised Mr. Pravir Krishna an IAS officer of the 1987 batch, who has earned the image of a participative and transformational leader with strong team-building skills and the unique ability to stand with the team, shoulder all pressure, give due credit and judiciously deal with average performers to turn them into high achievers.

Commencing his professional journey as SDM at Mahasamund, Raipur erstwhile Madhya Pradesh. He charted a stellar career course over the past 30 years, setting new paradigms of empathic service as District Magistrate, Secretary and Principal Secretary to the state government and Joint Secretary and Additional secretary and MD of public sector organization to the GOI.

He led the implementation of The Sahastra setu programme of Ambikapur-that linked all villages cut off by waterways in the district through a network of bridges and culverts in inaccessible areas.

He earned the title ‘Imli Krishna’, when he conceptualized and spearheaded the Imli Andolan of Bastar helping 2400 tribal self-help groups become the masters of their trade in Minor forest produces’ procurement, value addition and marketing.

As MD, Civil Supplies Corporation MP he transformed a loss-making public sector enterprise into a sustainable organization.

He ideated and implemented the ‘Sampoorna Swasthya’ program that strengthened the public health delivery systems in Madhya Pradesh catering to 5 lakh people per day ever since.

The turnaround story of TRIFED is a labor of love and sweat, hard work and persistence, taking the Imli Andolan mission to a nation-wide platform, thereby serving the tribal cause holistically and substantially. It is proposed to link almost 7 Lakh tribal artisans and 45 Lakh tribal entrepreneurs associated with Van Dhan Mission to the large market through IT platforms. This is the task which will turn around the lives of hard-working tribals residing in forests.
