‘World Ozone Day’ at AMU ABK High School-Girls

Aligarh : Students of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) ABK High School-Girls presented a skit on how to prevent the use of substances that deplete the Ozone Layer in the special assembly session to observe the ‘World Ozone Day’ at the school.

“The awareness spreading skit gave simple solutions which people can follow to phase out ozone-depleting substances and protect human health and ecosystems”, said Dr Saba Hasan (School Vice-Principal).

Programme Incharge, U N Naznin and other school teachers Rizwana Khatoon and Fakhra Tabassum explained how the Ozone Layer protects the Earth from the harmful portion of the rays from the sun and help preserve life on earth.
