World University of Design bags the prestigious IndiGlobal Innovative Leadership Award by Telangana Education Department and IGEF

Hyderabad : World University of Design (WUD), Sonipat, Haryana won the prestigious IndiGlobal Innovative Leadership Award for “most visionary contribution in establishing design as a mainstream field of study and career choice in India” by the Telangana Education Department and IndiGlobal Education Festival (IGEF) Committee.

The World University of Design also has been selected as an Outstanding Institution of India for imparting education in creativity.

Both awards have been received by Dr. Sanjay Gupta (Vice Chancellor, World University of Design) at the IndiGlobal Education Festival (IGEF) held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta (Vice Chancellor, World University of Design) says, “It is indeed heartening that the Telangana Education Department and IndiGlobal Education Festival (IGEF) Committee has recognised the efforts being made by WUD in making design education mainstream and opening up the sector to possibilities. I am sure this will bring focus on this important sector which has the potential to catapult India to the top of the innovation based economics of the world.”
