World Water Week 2021: DDC Poonch flags of Awareness Rally of students

Poonch: To disseminate awareness regarding water conservation and preservation, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today flagged off an Awareness rally of the students.
The rally started from the DDC Office Complex and culminated at Boys Higher Secondary School.
The Deputy Commissioner, while addressing the students said that the District Administration Poonch is committed to provide drinking water supply to all the households of the district and for this several measures are being taken. He urged upon the people to actively participate in such campaigns and play a constructive role in water conservation and preservation by ensuring its judicious use.
Later a cultural programme was organised in the BHSS Poonch on the theme, “Save water Save Life” followed by lectures on the judicious use of water, its upkeep and maintenance.
