Xavier University Bhubaneswar held its Common Inauguration Programme on September 1st, 2020

Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB), one of the premier Universities of India, held its Common Inauguration Programme on September 1st, 2020.

Students from MBA-SM (2020-22), MBA-UMG (2020-22), MURP (2020-22), MBF (2020-22),

MA – Mass Comm (2020-22), M. Tech – DSA (2020-22), MPPG (2020-22), BSc Mass Comm (2020-23), B Com (2020-23), BBM (2020-23), BSc SD (2020-23), B. Tech – CSE (2020-24), BSc Econ (2020-23), BA LLB (2020-22), BBA LLB (2020-25) joined the virtual inauguration and orientation.

Prof. Bikram K. Bahinipati, Associate Dean, Admissions addressed the participants and shared the batch profile across the schools and that gives a glimpse of the vast diversity of the incoming batch.

In his address to all the freshers starting their academic year in 2020, Fr. Antony Raj SJ., Deputy Registrar, New Campus, Xavier University welcomed them to Xavier University Bhubaneswar which is part of Higher Education Institutions founded and run by the Jesuits who administer 172 universities across the globe. In India they are the founders of two universities and 52 colleges.

Then we took the students for a virtual tour of the campus, to give them a coup d’œil of what their Undergraduate/Graduate life is going to be at the Xavier University campus in the coming years.

Vice Chancellor, Dr. Fr. Antony R. Uvari SJ. delivered the inaugural address. He advised the students to be the torch bearers to the world. They should always have conviction in themselves and should be equipped to shine in the corporate world through their hard work. He urged them to always rekindle the core values imparted to them. He concluded his speech by wishing everyone prosperity and asked the students to stay motivated and most significantly STAY SAFE.
